A little about me, I have essentially lived in Cape Girardeau since I was 10 years old. My family moved here from Lexington, MO when my father opened a Suzuki Motorcycle dealership in the very location occupied by CYCLEWERX today. Growing up I have almost always been on two wheels weather it was a bicycle or a motorcycle. Through my youth I raced both motorcycles and bicycles, my other main sport was Gymnastics which I competed in from age 10 until I was 16. I attended Cape Public schools and graduated in 1983. Only sport I participated in during school was wrestling. After High Scholl in attended Murray State University where after a break for a few years I graduated with an Accounting Degree. My break during college came about when my family took on the distribution rights to a company called Wet Jet, a personal watercraft manufacturer (Jetski, SeaDoo) and I took a job in the family business as a Sale Representative. At this point in my life my sporting desires had switched to the water I had been competing Water Skiing Tournament’s as well as Sailboarding/Windsurfing races/regattas. The opportunity to be involved in a business that incorporated the water was a dream come true. The overall plan was to finish my education a Murray which I did in 1992. Shortly after graduation I met my now wife Melinda Davidson and we now have two wonderful daughters together. Tatum our oldest Graduated from Notre Dame Regional High School and now attends the University of Mississippi. Our youngest Riley will begin her studies at Notre Dame this coming year where she is going to be a cheerleader and plans to play tennis. Side note Melinda was a cheerleader at Scott City, Tatum was a cheerleader at Notre Dame, and I was a cheerleader at Murray State. My main activities at this point in my life are first family and church then it’s all about bicycles. I stay busy and love it.
